Jason Wu is a Professor and the Head of the Nutrition Science Program at the George Institute for Global Health, University of New South Wales, Australia. His research and teaching focuses on reducing diet-related chronic diseases and improving health equity through implementing innovative ‘Food is Medicine’ programs, modelling the health and economic impact of food policies, and determining the role of dietary factors for chronic disease prevention. He has a PhD in Biomedical Science and MSc in Biostatistics, and received post-doctoral training in nutrition epidemiology at the Harvard School of Public Health. He is Australian, Kiwi, and Taiwanese, living in Perth, and has two energetic young boys who he can barely keep up with.
