Dr. Nanine Wyma is the Managing Director at the Physicians Association for Nutrition (PAN International), global medical nonprofit organization advancing nutrition in healthcare and medical education by promoting evidence-based practices of healthy diets for personal and planetary health. She holds an MBChB from Stellenbosch University and MHSc in Transdisciplinary Health Promotion from the African Unit of Transdisciplinary Health Research (AUTHeR) at North-West University. As a health professional leader dedicated to global impact through non-profit work, she founded the South African chapter of the Physicians Association for Nutrition in 2020. Since then, Dr. Wyma has created and accelerated organizations, projects, and movements. She has successfully led diverse teams from over 25 countries with a collective purpose of advancing healthcare.

Dr. Wyma also coordinates dynamic international research projects, writing and publishing information related to individual and planetary health, with contributions in scientific journals such as The Lancet Planetary Health, Frontiers in Sustainable Food Systems and British Medical Journal.
